Q: What is the maximum data speed this switch can handle?
A: This switch offers a maximum data speed of 2000 megabits per second.
Q: Does this switch come with a warranty?
A: Yes, this switch comes with a lifetime warranty for labor and a 5-year warranty for parts.
Q: Can this switch be rack mounted?
A: Yes, this switch can be either rack mounted or used as a desktop placement.
Q: Is it fine to stack other networking equipment (ASA, router) on top of this switch?
A: Yes. I have a wireless AC router plugged in and am using its 4port hub as well. No issues.
Q: Does this switch use a fan for cooling?
A: No fans. Vents allow air to escape on either side. It barely gets hot though.
Q: Hello. Does this switch have a WAN port? I see only 24 LAN ports
A: as you know, a Local Area Network is within your home or office so this switch would not, in this case, need a Wider Area Network. you would only need a WAN if you're connecting directly from outside and in that case you'll have to spend a few hundred to a few thousand dollars for a switch that can be used specifically for that purpose. I have optic so I hooked the modem cable to one of the ports and all my devices to the other ports.
A: Yes with the mounting brackets attached, it is made to fit a standard 19" rack.
