Easy to use, put out a wifi signal even though I was in a poor data coverage area. I was house sitting for a few days and in a deadzone...no wifi access, no 3g or 4g on my phone. I was lucky to get 1x and spotty 3g once in a while. Went to Best Buy and picked this up, hoping for the best. I wasn't sure if it could pick up enough of a 3g signal to put out wifi, but it did! I did the $5/day option. It definitely came in handy and I'm sure it will again sometime

Find One that Works...
I purchased this from Best-Buy and the thing would keep power-cycling (powering on and off)... took it back and got another from the same Best-Buy, same problem with the second unit.... Went to a competitor store and the one I got from them works as expected... great bandwidth when you are getting strong LTE signal... downloading better than 20Mbps, otherwise only as good as the available 3G or 4G LTE signal strength, keep this in mind... The user interface is good and the iOS app is useful... I can attach my MIMO antenna to the thing, good battery life, working as expected. I use it on the road for my iPod Touch navigation system and my laptop whenever I need mobile access. The VirginMobile Broadband service is a great value... I don't need mobile data all the time, so the month to month or daily plan works for me...

Does the job
Bought this for a cross country trip. Didn't use it much, but worked great when we needed it. Not much data coverage out west, but we didn't have coverage on our phones either. Easy connection once registered. Don't bother trying to register online. Doesn't seem to work. Skip it and just make the call to the support line. Helpful staff will get you up and surfing in no time.
