A: We have AC Powered Wireless systems available on Best Buy's website. Each camera would need to be powered on using the provided AC power adapter and connected to an outlet, but they wirelessly connect to the Wi-Fi NVR. This system is also compatible with our Wire Free cameras (up to 4). So for those areas where a cable may be at risk, you could opt for a Wire Free camera. A: Yes, the spotlight can be disabled for one or more cameras if desired. This can be done at the DVR/NVR level or remotely via the App. This may come in handy for cameras that are installed inside the home, or during special events where you anticipate a lot of camera activity. Q: What is the amps. needed to power up the cameras?

Q: Does it have audio both ways?
A: Hi Joe. The cameras sold with this particular system are not audio-enabled. The DVR can accommodate up to (2) audio-enabled cameras or (2) of our indoor microphones. A: It depends on many factors. By default, our products are set to motion record, meaning they will only record when the cameras sense motion within the detection area. How long it takes the hard drive to become full depends on: 1) the size of the hard drive, 2) how many cameras are connected, 3) the recording resolution the cameras are set to, 4) the environment where the cameras are installed (how much traffic they detect) and 5) the recording setting for each camera ( motion, continuous, time schedule, etc...). A: No. We would strongly recommend you upgrade the cabling to the new cables provided. This 5MP system has a big jump in resolution and additional detection features that require the upgraded cabling to ensure smooth operation. Thank you for understanding.
