A: We would like to advise you that this item is not compatible with the BN801 model.
A: Sorry, havent used ot yet. But there isn't any controls for selecting different grinds, it simply fits on my Ninja blender base and you pulse it until the grind looks right. Hope this helps

A: Hello ninA, Great question. Yes can certainly grind all kinds of seeds. Our large 12 tbsp. capacity grinder feature is fully equipped to pulverize tough spices, tiny seeds, and hard coffee beans. Grinds enough beans for a full 12-cup carafe of coffee. Dishwasher safe. The Ninja® Grinder is compatible with BL450/490/640/680 Auto-iQ™ series models and select BL480 series models.
