Built for the "Runner" and great alternative....
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very well built machine for all out 12 MPH running @ 15% grade. The great screen size and adding Bluetooth for headset makes it perfect to use for a home gym. Google Maps and the online workouts within iFit are amazing. However, at this price point I expect better integration with technology such as Fitbit/Apple Watch, screen mirroring to project iFIt content onto home TV, and streaming (ROKU, etc.) video on to the treadmill while working out. Overlay of workout stats (speed/distance/HR/time/etc) while being able to watch online TV/Movies would be a great enhancement.

Great Treadmill for all!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally bought this after waiting over 4 months for gyms to open due to C-19 and they unfortunately they didn’t. So I finally invested in this particular treadmill. All I can say is that this treadmill is definitely worth every penny! It’s professionally made and has all the bells and whistles that you’d find on a treadmill at the gym but a bit more with the large screen! The incline and speeds work great for newbies or intermediate runners/joggers and it’s not too loud. If you have the chance, definitely set up the iFit option, it has wonderful workouts for all walks of life. IFit offers my family and I all levels of workouts that not only involve the treadmill but other fitness workouts from kettlebell to weights to yoga, HIIT to full body interval workouts. They don’t miss a beat on iFit! My family and I all use it and are at all different fitness levels and we are all satisfied. Even without the iFit options, there are plenty of available options with or without incline available that you would see on gym treadmills.

Great treadmill & great quarantine machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ex Orangetheory nut turned ifit enthusiast! This treadmill is fantastic. I love that you can virtually run all over the world led by world-class trainers. The treadmill has the option to speed up and incline automatically based on the terrain and trainer’s speed. I was skeptical based on mixed reviews but I’m so glad I bought this machine.

2950 Commercial NordicTrack
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not the cheapest for sure, but it's a solid machine that has a lot to offer! The screen is huge and the treadmill is quite and smooth. Check out https://youtu.be/S5voanzdHMg for a unboxing and assembly video!

Don't be tempted
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't be tempted. Mine lasted 2 months and the entire electrical panel went out. After filing a Better Business Bureau complaint, Nordictrack finally sent the new console but no service. They offer a video for dismantling a totally different machine as a guide to installing this. Best Buy assembled my treadmill, but are not offering geek squad assistance to help resolve this.

Solid treadmill with some caveats
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This treadmill took four hours and two men to put together. So...not easy as the Best Buy driver told me it was. The screen is nice and big, and with the one year iFit it is great fun. They are still working out some of the programming glitches but I still give a thumbs up. The fans tend to hit me right at my chest, I am 5'6 so a bit odd, but it is what it is. It is okay to put into the upright position do note it is not really that out of the way when you do it. You will need a mat under this even on carpet, it is heavy. I will say, I had thought this was the same version on Nordics site, it is not. Notice the arm rails-they don't allow for push walking, the one on Nordic for the same price have hand rests that are upright. Great for power walking, but that is my mistake for not paying attention. I don't notice the difference in the knob that is supposed to provide a more cushy walk versus a more solid walk, both feel the same to me. The machine itself, is not loud but the fans are. The sound is good, the visual good as well. Please make sure to know that you can't watch anything on this screen other than iFit. Despite any commentary above, at the end of the day this allows for immersive fitness with iFit and the treadmill is maybe one level down from a really great gym treadmill. Although I think this one is better than most gym treadmills. I would encourage you to buy the protection coverage either from Best Buy or Nordictrack. This an expensive item that should seriously hold up for years but one never knows.

Love this treadmill!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually run on the treadmill for an hour at a time and it gets really boring...but not with this unit! The workouts on the screen are a perfect combinations of cardio and strength at all different levels. It's refreshing that I don't need to have my tablet or a TV in front of me to break the boredom of running! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I would like to be able to surf the internet while I run if I wanted to. The software does not allow that so I will have to figure out a way to mount my tablet somehow.

Commercial Grade Treadmill
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the NordicTrack Commercial Treadmill for my wife. She likes the treadmill a lot. It has a strong motor and runs smoothly. She said quick speed changes do not cause any problems with the track coming loose as with her older consumer model. However, she is unhappy about the map and terrain simulations. She said she has access to only one map with limmited terrain and lanscapes on the screen. You have to purchase a subscription from NordicTrack to have acess to more maps and features. I agree with her that such a high cost machine should offer a limited free trial of it's advanced features.

Q: QuestionThose who have geek squad warranty for treadmill- what has your experience been if you needed support?
Asked by Gymbunnie.
- A:Answer Don’t get geek squad warranty. I the icon warranties you purchase through birdi track is excellent. They just sent me a belt lube motor and new controller for 5yo treadmill and a tech will be here tomorrow to install and tube. Has saved me thousands I run 29+ mile weeks on mill

Q: QuestionWhat is the deal with the Cancer causing materials it's made with? (Companies have to disclose this information by law in California). It's 2020, why would any company make a prod with materials like this? Any chance new models no longer use these mater
Asked by Nick.
- A:Answer Essentially everything sold in California has to have a Prop 65 label and it’s virtually impossible to make things that completely avoid the list of chemicals defined by California as causing cancer. If you try to sell a product there and you don’t have this label you get sued (extorted?) by plaintiffs lawyers. It has very little do do with whether or not “cancer causing” chemicals are in the product or not. Prop 65 has done little other than line the pockets of a bunch of lawyers.

Q: QuestionDo you assemble?
Asked by Cemeae1.
- A:Answer The base is built , you have to install the front uprights and the platform and arm rests and the screen , it took me three hours to assemble , the belt is on already , no difficult stuff but you have to know your tools and what to do , the uprights can be tricky as there heavy , you need a helper , we took the box apart outside and carried in the base with the track , this part is really heavy and you need two strong people to lift it in the house and through the doorways , good luck

Q: QuestionWhat do the preloaded workouts look like? I'm planning not to renew the ifit after 1 year. The manual mode is ridiculous and I didn't see any programs. my 300$ weslo has 6 inbuilt programs. I just don' want to pay almost amount of treadmill in 5 years.
Asked by Aadi.
- A:Answer If you look up X22i/X32i Nelson Munoz on YouT*be, he provides step by step instruction on how to convert the screen on the newer NOrdicTrack Treadmills (including the 2950) to be used as a tablet in addition to iFit. It really works! I love the treadmill 100000x's more now that i can watch YouT*be and Netfl*x on it!

Q: QuestionIs this machine loaded with virtual scenery?
Asked by KO.
- A:Answer While I don't think the machine is preloaded with scenery, it does come with a 1-year family iFit membership. That membership has lots and lots of different workouts and iFit is constantly adding new ones. For example, in the past few days, I've been doing walking tours in the Serengeti with a veterinarian that have been both beautiful and absolutely fascinating. In addition, you can create your own workout route and view the Google Streets photos as you go (as long as your route is along streets that have been photographed by Google Maps. And there are even live workouts (several a day) that come with the membership. One of the other things I really like about this machine and iFit workouts is that the workout adjusts both speed and incline to go along with the trainer and/or terrain.

Q: QuestionDoes this machine not have the decline function? Nordictrack's website describes a decline and incline, but I don't see anything mentioned here.

- A:Answer yes it declines also

Q: QuestionIs there a place to put an iPad?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Not on this model. There is a small lip between the touch screen and the fan that you could attempt to balance an iPad on while walking - but I personally would not risk it.

Q: QuestionCan you confirm that BestBuy is selling the previous model (19119) and not the new model of the 2950 (19129)? I think they improved the fans and added bluetooth connectivity in the 19129 model. Thanks.
Asked by shorty.
- A:Answer See photo. Box says it’s the new model 19029 so Best Buy website and specs need to be updated.
