Q: cleaning
A: The hot dogs go in a little cage that lowers with them and comes out for easy cleaning. I'm sure you could toss it in the dishwasher even. It's metal, obviously, so can take some scrubbing.
Q: Bun toasting
A: Yes, the Nostalgia Electrics - Retro Series Pop-Up Hot Dog Toaster has a turn knob on the front to adjust the toasting darkness of buns.
A: I can't say I have noticed a hot dog smell after cooking but it is difficult to keep "fresh out the box" clean.
Q: I know this is for hot dogs, but can you put Brats in this as well or is it just not big enough?
A: The well is pretty long... while it swallow the whole hot dog, i found that i have to flip the dog to get evenly heated.
Q: Is there any toaster I can take with me and plug at 240 volts? Or are they all just 110? Thanks!
A: I think you will need a transformer or you can purchase a converter plug for it.
A: Oster (Sunbeam) Citrus Juicer Model #3186. I bought this at Best Buy in 2014. Wonderful purchase. Reasonably priced, easy to clean, works great. Small footprint so can easily keep on counter. You'll surely be happy.
