Big Audio Upgrade
Comingfrom a yamaha aventage line 4K receiver. This receiver does not have HDMI switching or reliability issues. Most importantly, the room correction software is Dirac Live which alllows incredible amounts of tweaking and provides a sigjficant boost to sound quality. The latter cannot be overstated. The software will show you rook anomalies, and all the crazy fluctations at what frequencies. Then, it will flatten them so you get the flattest response (ideal) possible. I couldnt believe the difference. Even a non audiophile like my spouse could hear it. The details it brought out are crystal clear, and I feel like I brought a Dolby Cinema like experience to my home. Dont overthink it, there is no big competition for Dirac calibration at this time. The provided Mic works with it. I was considering new speakers for my midrange klipsch sytem, but this was the right choice. Night and day.

RZ30 super affordable for its class...
This is my first sound receiver...i was hesitant between all of the different options available in the market today....however, I went for this receiver rz30 particularly for its sound quality, Dirac Live room correction, and robust feature set, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and 8K/60Hz support. I realky like and appreciate its ability to handle various speaker configurations and its user-friendly setup process....i would say that the remote control feels old...and the app is meh....and for a novice such as me...it was complicated to set up and comprehend the multiple options...overall i super content with the purchase....
