A: No you are not missing anything -- it is a challenge to take on and off. First be careful not to drop the phone. I use two hands and do it over a counter or table so if the phone does slip it does not drop far. When putting the cover on I start with the either the top or bottom edge. I prefer the top for no good reason. Slip the phone in the top and snap it in the corners. Then work both right and left edges down towards the bottom. Last snap the bottom corners in. When taking it off I like to start with the top right corner, nearest the camera lenses. At that corner, gently apply down pressure with your thumbs and up pressure with your fingers until the corner pops out. Then work your way around the rest of the case.
