Great 720p LCD for the Bedroom
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI recently bought this LCD to watch cable and DVDs in the bedroom. It fits the bill perfectly. I am about 13 feet away from the screen and the picture quality is great! I bought this Panny because I am so happy with the 50in.-G20 model I have in the entertainment room. I bought an LCD over a plasma for the bedroom since my wife will be doing a lot of viewing on it, and I didn't want to have her worry about all the plasma-related caring issues. The sound level is surprisingly more than sufficient Be sure to check your cable/satellite audio settings to ensure optimal audio. I also recommend the Cinema picture settings (looks perfect with Panny's patented dark-levels). In five years, when cable provides more 1080 programming, I then might consider upgrading to a 1080p set. But for now, for people/couples on a budget , wanting to watch casual cable HD in the bedroom, this LCD may be the best out there.

Great TV, but no RCA audio out jacks
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI'll preface my review by noting that I returned the TV to Best Buy and they accepted my return with no restocking fees. The picture quality of this TV is remarkably good; I was especially impressed with the upconversion on my laptop (with HDMI out) to the TV. Videos viewed on YouTube looked remarkably great! The reason I wasn't happy with this is partly my own fault because I failed to notice that the TV has no RCA audio out nor headphone out jack. I live in an apartment and as a courteous tenant, I only listen to audio with wireless headphones when I'm alone. I tried all kinds of configurations with a receiver using the digital optical audio out connection and the audio signal was very weak. I see that almost every other competing brand of this TV type DOES have RCA out audio jacks. I'm not sure why Panasonic overlooked this or felt there was no need for this? Even with the Best Buy TV return, I'm out some money from Amazon returns, etc. I cannot give this TV 5 stars due to the lack of the non-digital audio out jacks - but if the consumer doesn't need these, this is a great choice in the 32 inch TV range.

Outstanding!
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendOut of the box the picture quality (in Standard mode) was very good (it popped with brightness and clarity) but being a perfectionist I proceeded to make some adjustments, mostly because there was too much red in the picture. Well, one thing led to another and before I knew it the picture was a mess! No problem I thought, I'll just press the button that sets it back to factory defaults and start over again, right? Wrong! After resetting to factory defaults, the picture now seemed to lose it's brightness that I was initially so impressed with and no amount of adjusting could get it back to where I started. This made no sense to me and I really wasn't sure what to make of it and was ready to pack it back in the box and return if to the store....glad I didn't though because I found a menu setting called C.A.T.S. which automatically adjusts the screen brightness according to the ambient lighting condition. Once I turned this off the brightness returned to the level it was when I first turned it on. A couple of minor adjustments to color and tint and the set became a keeper. I'm not sure why I needed to turn this feature off after a factory default reset but this seemed to be the only way to fully restore the out-of-box brightness....even changing from Standard to Vivid had very little effect so I'm convinced turning off C.A.T.S. was key. With that said, I'm considering purchasing another one of these sets for another room.

Best TV for the size & price
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI purchased this TV to replace a 2 year old 32" Dynex that was starting to go bad. So far I am very pleased and this TV is a huge upgrade over what I had. The picture has much more clarity and rich, dark colors. Standard def looks great, not to mention how good HD looks. The IPS panel is a big help. It's also nice not to have a TV that freezes up every time you switch to an HD channel. Setup is incredibly easy and the Vierra link is handy for those of us who own Panasonic blu-ray players. One less remote needed. As far as people saying this is just a good "extra" TV, if you live in a studio apartment like I do, you don't need a huge 65" flat screen. I watch movies all the time and when you're less than 6 feet away from the screen, 32" or 37" is PLENTY. On a side note, the new Star Wars blu- rays looked outstanding on this set. On the sound, I a really don't get the reviews about "poor sound quality". Why would you ever buy a nice HDTV but yet not have a home theater to hook it up to? Why bother? I get it that some people don't have surround sound systems in their home. If that's going to be the case, don't expect to get that experience from small, 10W speakers! Many channels broadcast in Dolby 5.1 anyway, let alone DVDs, blu-rays and the like. The speakers on this TV or any other are NOT meant for high quality sound. They're good for watching the news or just having it on in the background while you do something else. For what it's worth, the simulated surround works pretty well for what it is. The sound of breaking glass during a commercial had me fooled recently! Bottom line Panasonic is a great brand, and you'll be hard pressed to find negative comments on this site or others. If you are looking for a TV this size and you're not looking to spend a fortune, this TV is for you. If I had to nitpick, the remote definitely takes time to get used to as some buttons are too close to each other.

GREAT TV, GREAT PRICE
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI went out on blackfriday and at first got suckered into buying a dynex 32in 720p on sale for 229, 25dollars for 2 year insurance. That was mainly cuz the deal i came for the 42in sharp for 199 was long gone despite me getting there2 hours prior to store opening. As soon as I had the dynex set up i realized the picture was horrible, there was a delay for changing channels etc etc. I found this tv on best buy's website on sale for 319 (50bux off) then found one that was open box -20% so the price before my 2 year best buy insurance on it was 255. For such a mere price difference, the difference between both tvs was astounding! The Panasonic has great clarity, even with only 720p, NO input lag for changing channels, has vierra for instance sync with other Panasonic products etc, set up was easy, nice remote, SO MUCH HAPPIER WITH THIS TV!

Great Value!
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI spent a couple of weeks researching various TV's, from the cheap to mid-priced level as dictated by my budget. While this is for my bedroom, I still wanted to enjoy watching it, not loathe the fact I skimped out on something and regret my purchase. My criteria was: -picture quality -inputs, including needing a PC input -sound quality -dependability I determined I did not need an LED TV, although it would be a nice aspect if I didn't have to pay more for it. I also determined the same for 1080p, at 32" there is no need to pay extra for something I wouldn't notice. After reading many reviews and comparing specifications, the TC-L32C3 was short listed. I had hard time pulling the trigger without seeing the picture in person, so I went to BB to check it out against a couple other possible units. Even before making sure the settings on each were adjusted properly, it was easy to see the Panny had very good color and stood out from the rest. A few tweaks to the settings and I had a great picture, devoid of graininess and fantastic black levels. My decision was solidified by seeing it in person, even more so when BB matched their lower sale price from the week before (which matched Amazon). I have been very pleased with the picture since getting it home and in my bedroom. The IPS panel really performs; watching HD nature programs really show off its color performance. It also has a feature to let the TV control its light intensity. I really like this as at night it will reduce its output so your eyes strain less, and adjust up for daytime viewing. Its sound quality is good enough that I don't think about it, meaning at least it isn't all tinny and weak. I haven't yet tested it with music, however. Even though we have a nice plasma in our living room, I find I like going to bed a bit early to watch science shows (especially if the wife is watching anything Housewives of somewhere related). I highly recommend this TV, provided you can spend the $50 or so above the uber-cheap sets to get a quality picture.

Great tv at any price
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendGot the tv today (Cyber Monday), set it up and couldn't wait to write a review. I read hundreds of reviews on dozens of tv's before buying this, and I couldn't be happier. It was easy to set up (most are#, the picture is great #most are), the two things that most impressed me are: the built-in speakers sound great and the tv is more energy efficient than even a comparably sized LED tv. It is our primary tv in a smaller living room, and we very happy with it.

Very nice tv
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is my first hdtv and i like it a lot. I bought it when it was $100 cheaper and I had no intentions of actually buying a new tv right then and there. But my older tv (projection) was already starting to go out so I decided to get a new one. The sound quality is really good. The picture is really good too but I dont have hd cable so I cant really judge on that. I do play my 360 on this tv and I have an hdmi cable and with it the picture of the game is gorgeous. This tv seems to be very well made and it has a lot of customizing options with it. sd card, 2 hdmi ports as well as the standard a/v ports and upgraded ports. For $300 bucks I got a good deal on this tv and I am very happy with it.
Q: QuestionSince there are no red/white audio outputs, does this mean I can't connect my xbox 360 to it since that uses the red, yellow, white cables?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You can connect your xbox with an hdmi cable.
Answered by Anonymous
Q: QuestionDoes it have an audio output for a red and white wire connector?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer NO this TV does NOT have the RCA (red and white) audio out jacks! You're wise to ask this question as I failed to consider it. As noted in a review I just made of the TV, I'm really surprised and disappointed Panasonic chose not to put these on. It cost both Best Buy and Panasonic a sale because otherwise I would have been thrilled to keep the TV. That said it was partly my fault for not asking questions and researching this before buying.

Q: QuestionWhich channels can be watched with the NTSC tuner?I have a DVD/VCR with an NTSC tuner. I currently have the cable TV coax hooked up through this device--no cable or digital TV box. Will that arrangement work on this TV? If so, which channels will be available: all the channels broadcast by each station, or just each station's primary channel (which is what I'm getting now without a cable box)? Also, will I be able to record programs with my VCR?
