A: Thank you for your question. The Base can be wall mounted.
Q: does it have a jack for headset?
A: YES IT DOES. Only ONE of the three handsets has an audio jack. It's the most rugged durable handset. It does not come with the audio head set. Works fine for me in my metal workshop.
Q: Does the phone have a back up if the power goes out?
A: Not on this model. For example KX-TG954x series, KX-TG9552, KX-TGF77x, KX-TG985SK have it.
Q: Does the system have a HOLD button
A: Dear Dan, thank you for asking us. This unit has a HOLD option. While you are already in a call, you can see on the screen the HOLD option.
Q: What is the range from base to handset?
A: I can't say in exact numbers, but it is pretty far. We use them inside and out and from every corner of the house and yard.
