This toothbrush and app have been helping my daughter get more in the habit of brushing teeth. However, like many other reviews, there are some bugs. If she rushes without the app, it's impossible to give her credit, and it makes no sense to not allow the profile on more than 1 device.
It's a good tooth brush, but too bad the app doesn't have more thought into it.
Definitely recommend this for younger children still learning to brush their teeth. The app that accompanies it is very easy to use as well.

Not just for kids!
Brushing with a Sonicare is way better than brushing with a classic toothbrush. My dentist agrees. You don't scrub your teeth. You just hold the bristles gently on each tooth for a few seconds. It not only super cleans your teeth. It super massages your gums! The unit even signals you when to move on to the next quadrant. Before switching to Sonicare, my teeth were super sensitive to hot and cold and my gums were inflamed and sore. Now I have none of that. It's a big deal.
So this particular model is labeled as "for kids". While it comes with stickers that can be applied or not as you wish and a low intensity setting that make it more kid friendly, there is absolutely nothing about it that makes it adult unfriendly. In fact, it has as many or more features than the more expensive "adult" labeled models. Wait it gets better. You can use the superior diamond clean brush heads with this model.
Be aware that it is necessary to replace the brush head every few months.
Of all the Sonicare models, this is the one to get. Don't be tempted with more expensive models with useless additional features.
Kids needed a replacement toothbrush and we have had good experiences with previous Phillips Sonicares. Minor quibble is that the kids tried to put the stickers that came with it on. They just come right off after a few uses.
My family has been using the Sonic brushes since its introduction in the 90s. This toothbrush is great for children (just make sure you buy the appropriate brush for the age range).
However, hold on to your receipt! Why? This brush will let you down within a year. It's just not durable and probably why Philips has a 2 1/2 years warranty on it if you register it after you buy it. You need your receipt for warranty purposes so have BestBuy e-mail it to you (if you buy in store) so you will have it handy.
Overall, it's a great brush that will keep the cavities away and your kids will want to use. Just be warned, hold on to that receipt: you'll need it!
A:AnswerUsually depends on which sonicate you buy. If it's just the brush you just get the one not an extra
one. Child's one and one extra different size head and charger. The elite styles may have an extra brush along with carry case and charger.
