A: For one Sub u need an amp that pushes at least 250 watts RMS not max wattage. If you buy an amp that pushs more power you wont necessarily mess up the Sub, the amp ONLY sends the power the Sub asks for. Then when ur ready to get a more powerful Sub you won't have to get a new amp you get me? Hope that helped
