A: Yes, the 3' recommendation is the ideal environment for the SDA technology. However, the L800 SDA technology has been highly effective in many odd-shaped rooms. As with most speakers, speaker placement and room acoustics will significantly affect the overall sound quality of the L800 speakers. A: Hi python, Great question. Yes - there is a right speaker. With the L800 they need to be ordered accordingly (one left speaker and one right speaker) if you wish for the L800 pair to perform at it's best.
A: Hello, It is essential to order a left L800 and a right L800 when ordering a pair. If two left (or two right) speakers are ordered, the performance will be compromised because the left speaker operates differently from the right speaker. This is deliberate in order to achieve what it is the L800 SDA technology is designed to do.
