The materials and construction are fantastic. The case is rigid and will protect the vr unit well. However, it’s a little too small to be useful. There is a pouch to stuff the cables into, but there isn’t enough room to put the processor box. If you didn’t want to tote your vr around I guess it’s not a problem, but then again, why are you buying a case for it? But the biggest issue is that it must have been designed for the V1 headset rather than the V2; the in-line headphones that come with the V2 headset cannot be stored in their proper spot and still fit in this case. That’s a huge oversight in my opinion

Perfect alternative to display stand. The VR stand is great if you are shooting a commercial but consider that having the unit live sitting out in the open leads to considerable amounts of dust collecting on the "exposed" lens... And the most expensive part of your rig is sitting at the highest center of gravity... Ehhh... I don't want it to fall and don't want to wipe the lens with particles of dust before every use. Once the lens is scratched - its over. I will use this rugged case to both protect and keep it covered - huge piece of mind. I leave the wires hanging out and connected to the console and micro fiber cloths in the interior pocket. $40 when I grabbed it during launch. (sidebar - I already have a DS4 charger and move control chargers as well.)
