Q: What is the difference between this model( the "professional model") and the lesser expensive model?
A: We have 2 different models of Presto® SaladShooter® electric slicer/shredders - (02910 and 02970). Our Professional model 02970 is larger than 02910. The 02910 Presto® SaladShooter® slicer/shredder operates at 66 watts. The 02970 Presto® SaladShooter® slicer/shredder operates at 115 watts. The base, food chute, and cones are all bigger in the Professional model. The Professional size also offers more cones with the appliance. Finally, the 02970 is now offered in black. Q: Does the professional sharp shooter attachments work with the older model?
A: Yes, If you have the 02970 model, the newer attachments should fit with the older (white) model. The current model has been updated to black. Call us so we can double check the type of cone you need with your appliance to be sure. Call 1-800-877-0441. We're available weekdays, 8-4 CT.

A: All Presto® electrical appliances are designed to be used with 120V 60HZ AC electricity. Presto does not recommend using its electrical products with an adapter or converter to accommodate any other electrical voltage, hertz or current.
