Fun for Everyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Primeval is an unique show that mixes dinosaurs and time traveling in one to make a very compelling plot. It starts off on a decent foot but gets increasingly better each season. Primeval has lovable characters that makes you want to stay and watch hoe their storyline progresses. Primeval has flaws, like every show, but is worthwhile. I doubt you will be disappointed in watching this show, and I can guarantee you that shows like this are hard to come by.

Never saw a single episode, until now
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I remember seeing the trailers for this series but I never got to see a single episode, and none of the stores had it in stock so I finally bought all 3 seasons at once on-line......Interesting show

PRIMEVAL
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watched this because I'm fascinated with dinosaurs. The first episode's not that great, but give the series a chance. The characters work together really well. Good stories. I'd say the series standout is Hannah Spearritt. I always look forward to seeing the scenes with her. I never heard of her before, even though she is part of the group S Group 7. Unfortunately, like most British series, the first season only had 6 episodes to it. The second had 7 episodes, so don't expect anything like 20 or 24. However, this set is nice because it combines seasons 1 and 2, so you're getting 13. The acting is very good. However, if you have trouble understanding thick British accents, you might want to use subtitles. The only one who speaks with the kind of British accent that is familiar to American ears is Lucy Brown. The actor who plays the professor has a very thick Scottish accent. David Lee Potts and Hannah Spearritt have an accent that sounds somewhat Cockney. I didn't have a problem with it, though some might. Enjoy! The series returns on BBC America for a third year in January or February of 2009

Inovative idea that packs a punch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having only seen one episode of Primeval I approached this box set with trepidation. It turns out that the episode I saw was the final episode of season three. It was a little confusing, but it intrigued me enough to give Season 1 a try. I was glad I did. In essence this set is actually seasons 1 and 2 of this British series (The british seasons traditionally being six episodes per). It mashes several sci fi plots together to make a thouroughly enjoyable hour of television. The acting is great with just a few over the top performances keeping it from being excellent. The Dvd extras are good and the special effects are top notch. Would definately recomend this if someone were trying to learn the different prehistoric eras. LEMIII

This show is awsome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like sci fi, action and drama or dinosaurs this is for you.Contains series 1 and 2 ,13 episodes in total. And although it seems like a small number the episodes are packed full of content and the story progresses smoothly. You can easily watch this in 2 sittings because it is very enjoyable.I cant wait until more seasons are made!
