A: I think it is definitely a defect. I just returned my oven to Best Buy and they were excellent about taking it back and have sent out a new one. The first one had an 1/8" gap at the right side of the door. Could really feel the heat escaping and could see the oven rack when looking down from the top. The new replacement seems fine.

A: I never thought about purchasing a cover for the crumb tray. In every toaster oven I have owned I always covered the tray with foil, something I always have on hand and I just throw it away when a new cover is needed.

A: Yes, it can cook the standard 12" frozen Pizza. It cooks it nicely and browns the crust.
