A: Hello Teresa, We are happy to inform you that you do not need to hold the power button in to use the Shark - ION™ F80 Cord-Free MultiFLEX®. You can press and release the power button to power it on. We would like you to know that the dust cup cannot be opened until the handheld portion of the vacuum is removed from the wand. The release button to open the dust cup is on the side of the handheld portion of the vacuum near the dust cup lid. Q: How long is the run time on the batteries? And is it a hepa type filter? Thank you
A: Hello Audry, We would like to inform you that a single battery for the Shark ION™ F80 Cord-Free MultiFLEX® will last up to 40 minutes on handvac mode. This vacuum does not have a HEPA filter. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
