A: I've had this printer go to sleep for days, and the moment I send a print job to it, it wakes up and begins printing in a couple seconds. I read those other reviews too, and I'm not sure what they are referring to. I am running under Win10, and used the HP download site to grab the full suite of drivers and tools. Maybe that made the difference. But it works exactly how I'd want it to work.
