Q: How do you install these lights? Specifically, how do you get them to stay in place?
A: As I didn't want to do anything permanent right now to our new house, I've installed these lights using rubber bands wrapped around our back yard fence. I do have to replace a rubber band every few weeks or so as they break, but that is not a big deal.
Q: Can light cable be shortened to prefered length?
A: The lights are too short. They should be much longer. They are 180 inches long, which is three feet.
