I got this after my last one broke. I have nose bleed issues that are rectified when I use a humidifier. Lucky for me this has a cool and warm function based on the type of weather. Only issue is refilling it with water I tend to spill some water just lifting the container from it's slot even though it's supposed to be empty

I have purchased several humidifiers over the years. They all worked. They also all had the same problem. Maybe I am too cynical, but either humidifier companies hire some dumb designers, or those people are told to make something that consumers will be forced to throw out, so the company can sell more of them. I am refering to the fact that many humidifiers are built with tank shapes that make them awkward to handle and fill, making spills and crashes more likely. Moreover, their bases have nooks and crannies that make them difficult, if not impossible, to keep clean. Perhaps that is the only way it can be done. But cleaning the machine often is necessary, because once a deposit becomes fixed on one of those inaccessible surfaces, I have had no success in removing it.
That said, the Pure Guardian I bought works very well. It is ultrasonic, which is the only type I will buy because I refuse to deal with the mess and expense of filters. It is easy to adjust the flow of vapor. I have had no problems with dampness around the machine. Also no white dust, and I use tap water, so my city water must not be too hard. About a month after my purchase, there are no problems to report.

Stylish Humidifier but ...

I wanted to really love this humidifier (being my first humidifier purchase) but non-functioning warm feature was truly disappointing. You can set the humidifier to cool or warm and I was really excited to use the warm feature. I've had it for several weeks now and it still produces cool to cold air instead of warm. It sufficiently humidifies and is a good humidifier that is quiet and does half of what it promises. If only the warm feature worked I would have given it 4 to 5 stars. Overall, I like this humidifier but would love it if the warm feature actually worked.

I was looking for a humidifier for a long time. Many reviews warned about white particles and failure after a short while even for very expensive units. I have been very pleased with the performance. No white particles and unit holds a lot of water plus it stays very clean. You can turn on or shut off the night light, plus unit is quiet. Couple of times it has gurgled. Water does not seem to get hot but I was looking for a cool mist humidifier. Very pleased with the units performance.

I got this because my room was very dry so I wanted something that had both warm and cool mist. This is a great product and looks great. The only thing that would make it better is if you could refill the tank from the top without having to take the tank out.

We haven't had any problems with this humidifier. We've had other models, and this seems like the best one so far. It produces a good amount of humidity, runs longer (not the advertised 80 hours, however) than other humidifiers. However, it was expensive.

For a small one-room humidifier, this fits the bill. It is easy enough to set up and doesn't take up too much room. It could be easier to fill the water tank. You have to turn it upside down, but not a big deal.

I purchased the humidifier for a one bedroom apartment (730 square feet) that has a HVAC system. I was finding with the colder winter that the air was exceedingly dry causing issues with sleeping at night. The I keep the humidifier in the bedroom and run it only at night and have found that is has improved my ability to sleep through the night and also reduces nose and throat irritation from dryness. The heated vapor option is nice and the humidity level controls are easy to maintain.
Only significant issue I have is that with the humidifier on high it runs out of water through the course of a night, with that said I have found that at 50 power the humidifier maintains humidity at a good level and will last for 2 nights.
