Pure - Xbox 360

Sweet game although it was short lived. The game was over way too quickly. It got annoying when you would only win a set of grips for a lot of races. It got annoying. I would like to see more mechanical upgrades. For example, instead of "engine" split it up into exhaust, carbs, air filter, etc. Small upgrades in performance along with the vast number of visual mods would be cool. But it sucks winning a race after playing it 10 times to only win a set of grips. Sometimes the quads didnt seem to track correctly. Sometimes it would handle and keep up with other riders and other times it felt like the buttons on the controller wern't pushed hard enough. It got annoying. But it was liveable. The tricks were wide and wild. They came in all different size and shapes. It was cool the way the tricks would progress as your skill increased in the race. I loved how it was necessary to do the tricks to gain boost for the race. It did get annoying when it seemed like you pushed different buttons and the same trick seemed to be performed. (the guitar rocker special trick) A custom rider option would be cool too. Something like MX Unleashed, or even MX vs ATV (although I didnt like that game). Just so you can customize your character along with your ride. Plus then you can win gear in your races too (instead of grips). All in all this is the best game on the 360. I cant wait until the sequal comes out. Hopefully its Bikes instead of quads this time. It would put a whole new mix in the race. But for now, this is the best moto game I have played since MX Unleashed, and before that Supercross.

This game is just a lot of fun to play! If you are looking for a game that isn't going to fry your brain thinking wise and is going to be very enjoyable, then this is the game for you. Years back there was a game on the PS2 called Freekstyle, if you liked that game you'll love Pure. The game is really fun and really easy to jump right into. There is a short tutorial that shows you the basics and then you're off from there! The qraphics are superb, especially when you are soaring through the air ripping sick tricks. The controls are fairly simple and there aren't any complex button combos to pull off insane tricks. But this game isn't a push over. As you advance up the ranks, the races and competition get tougher and it's a lot harder to place 1st. Being able to build your own ride is a huge plus. You pick the parts and set the performance and you have to use different rides for different tracks / races. The only downfall I have found so far is that this is a very short game. After 2 days, I was already 3/4's of the way done. But I can definitely see some potential for repalyability and online racing. All and all, this is just a really fun game to play!

In my opinion this is graphically one of the best games on the XBox 360. The character models are solid the animations are fluid and the environments look great. The difficulty is set perfectly. The first set of races I did I got first in easily. Then when I started the next level I could tell that I was in for some trouble. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to tune you ATV in order to win races but paying attention to the race type is the key. My only issue with this game is that in order to play with a friend you have to play over XBox live. There is no local multiplayer which I think should be standard on this type of game. Overall this is just a really fun game. Haven’t played on line yet but im sure I will love it just as much if not more.

I downloaded this game on xbox live just to try it out. I loved it so much I bought the game, and love it even more. You can customize your atv and you can earn rewards very quickly. I won my first race and unlocked a new ride. It is very easy to play, but still a bit of a rush. If you crash, it won't take you 5 mins or mashing the A button repeatedly to get back on and get racing again. Did I mention that the graphics are amazing? There are probably 10 tracks to race, but they took their time developing those ten. Incredible graphics, easy gameplay, and great fun!

Being an Xbox 360 player, it was a good change when i bought PURE. The graphics are great along with it's gameplay. Some of the maps do get repetative, but if you like off-road games you will certainly anjoy this game.

This game is fun while it last,because it's really a short game without much depth.The controls are easy.Just pick up and play,but all the while it's still a fun racing experience.

I remember a game by Electronic Arts on Gamecube called Freekstyle. In this game you raced against other riders on motorcycles flying off jumps doing tricks mid-air and crashing through signs and all the while each trick filled a portion of your trick bar enabling you to bust out all kinds of air tricks. Well, Pure is pretty much the same high flying, trick busting, adrenaline pumping racing game, but instead of motrocycles...you're on 4 wheelers. From the demo I downloaded and played on Xbox Live Arcade, this game will be a best seller.

Not sure why or how you review these games before you play them but anyway. Not a bad game. Again alot rehashing going on in games these days and for $60 better graphics alone is not worth it. If you are dying for a mess around quad game this is a good choice just don't be surprised when nothing surprises you about this title. So basically you won't feel ripped off but your not giong to be amazed by anything in this game
