I believe it can connect to 2.4 + 5 Gigahertz. Insignia is one of the Best Buy private lines so why did you not contact them regarding specifications on their product . Honestly the processor is not large enough for the tablet and whatever you're connected to takes a long time to load. I bought it as an extra tablet but I am thinking of replacing it.
