If you are referring to Family Tree Maker which is manufactured by Mackiev, I believe I was able to locate the minimum requirements on their website. They recommend Windows 7 or later, 2gb of RAM minimum (4gb recommended), and a minimum of 1024x768 screen resolution. This computer should meet your needs just fine. With 1TB of storage, you should be able to save a LOT of files. Don't forget to get an external hard drive to back up your important files and to use for transferring files from your old computer to the new one!
