• NO is does not fit just bought one today took it in the car to try it out did not fit went right back in to return it.....also check manufacturer website http://www.welcometoskylab.com/faq/ from skylab website. • No, it does not mount properly. Because the Hero 5 is slightly larger, the 'specialized' bracket screws are not long enough. It could be an easy fix, but I can not find a solution has been made by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, I will return it.

• No, unfortunately it does not fit the Hero 5 black. It is only compatible with the hero 3 and 4... wish the manufacturer made that a little more clear before i spent 45 minutes on line waiting for one.

• People answering these question, do you even own the GoPro HERO5 Black? Yes, it would probably fit, but the mode setting button is covered. Get a different brand!

• YES. This will work with anything GoPro sized. you could put a potato in this bad boy and it would still work great.
