QuestionI'm hooking up to a vga receptacle. I bought hdmi to vga pc adapter. i cannot get a picture on monitor. This being used for converting a crt monitor to flatscreen. I used previous Insignia #NS-32D312NA15 with no problem. Just selecting vga input.

- Answer You need an HDMI to VGA adapter that is powered. Some TVs don't supply the nessacary 5 volts to is required to make the connection work. Hope that helps.

QuestionThe picture on our 18.5" monitor (used as a kitchen TV), just started to ocassionally flick and simultaneously interrupt the sound. The cable signal is good. I checked all the connections and they are secure. Is the monitor failing?

- Answer Yes, it does. Look for the CCD button on the remote. You can also go to Menu, Settings, press enter and highlight Close Caption and press enter again and select your preferences.
