Yes they can....I have mine plugged into a GFI now and it works like a champ!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This adapter plugs into both top and bottom sockets in a standard US electrical outlet. It would not fit in the GFI outlet I have because GFI oullets spacing between top and bottom are a little farther apart than standard outlets.
