what,s the size of a 40" tv approx. ---thanks null

The width is 36", Height 21" + 2" setting on the stand The stand is 27 1/2" x 9"

The TV is 36" long x 23" high x 9 1/2" deep (the feet on the TV are 9 1/2" forming the base of the unit).

Looks at the specs sheet for every tv. It differs with or without stand.
