Another choice is to use Sony's - 5.1-Channel Soundbar System with 6.3" Wireless Subwoofer And Digital Amplifier which has one HDMI ARC output (which connects to the TV' s HDMI ARC input) and 3 other HDMI inputs which is where your Blu-ray player, DirecTV satellite box and/or one other component would connect to via HDMI cable. Probably need one of Logitech's universal remote controls which can be programmed to do multiple operations with one button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV has 3 HDMI inputs, of which only one supplies Audio Return Channel (ARC). You'll have to connect an AV receiver such as the one you use, I'm guessing which has multiple HDMI inputs, to this TV's 1 HDMI input that supplies ARC and use your receiver has an HDMI input switcher. Hope this makes sense. It might require one of Logitech's universal remote controls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The TV essentially runs on an operating system... if that makes sense. It's different than what I'm used to but you just have to setup the connections in the TV software. I would recommend getting a DVD player that runs on HDMI for this TV.
