“i have a vizio e-70 and it has had multiple issues, from wifi not connecting, and the biggest one, the led strips in the tv going really dim. so my question is for long time owners has any of this happened?”

No, have not had any issues with Vizio TV's and I have owned them for at least 15 years. I have one of the first 55" TV's that came out with 3D no less, and it is still going strong. I recently purchased a 75" P series for living room and the 65" M series for a bedroom. Both are running perfectly. Contact Vizio and see what they say or if you have Geek Squad protection, contact them.
