“When you say refurbished, what was the damage before and how was it fixed? Do I have to worry about anything going wrong with the computer and have to repair it myself? And was there previously any virus or malware?”

There could be a number of reasons it was recertified-some are demo units, review units or customer returns. Unfortunately there is no way to determine why a particular model was recertified. These products have a 90-day warranty against hardware defects and supported by PlanetROI. Documentation on this is included in the box with the product.
