• Yes, the Chrome operating software is present. And because it is a Chromebook, it automatically updates everyday when you turn it off and boot it back up as you turn it back on. By the way, powering it back up from the off condition you have a startup and useable home screen in 5-7 seconds. No long boot up times like you have with Windows machines.
