• The Acer has an HD webcam built in, works well with Skype chats, but don't know the specs of the camera.

• Yes, It is an HD Webcam. Type:Acer Crystal Eye HD Webcam, and can take 1280 x 720 images.

• We have used Skype on this model, pic was very good.

• Not good for Skype. It was slower than other comparable laptops I have.
