A:Answer Sound can be connected via 3.5mm jack - you will need to have separate speakers to connect to it. Should be compatible with any computer that has a HDMI out. Note that audio cannot come through a VGA port, so you will need to keep that in mind when setting up your computer (IE: if your computer doesn't have a HDMI out, it won't send sound to the monitor, which means you will have to connect sound elsewhere, more than likely directly to the computer via 3.5mm jack).
