- Answer The Acer PM161Q Abmiuuzx gets power through either a single USB-C cable for laptops with compatible ports or the included AC adapter and power cord. When using a USB-C connection, the monitor draws power from the laptop, which also provides the video signal. Or the separate power adapter and micro-USB cable can connect the monitor to a wall outlet, especially when using an HDMI connection.
