  • QuestionWhat was refurbished on this monitor/ is there any scratches on the screen or problems with any of the ports

    Asked by Derek.

    • Answer Recertified indicates a previously-purchased item returned to the manufacturer. It is inspected and if needed, repair the item before reselling, usually at a significant discount. There could be a number of reasons it was recertified-some are demo units, review units or customer returns. Unfortunately there is no way to determine why a particular product was recertified or what was refurbished.

  • QuestionI'm looking for an affordable monitor to use for editing photographs. I need to be able to calibrate the monitor using the Color Munki software, which sets the parameters remotely (without personally changing settings in the monitor) will this one work?

    Asked by stan.

    • Answer Iguess its really your preference. From what I've looked up you just want a really good display panel. This has a vgn panel which means it let's light pass through pixels vertically. In my opinion with this resolution and from being a VPN and not ips it still looks amazing. I like to have my contrast up a bit with my colors pretty high, so I can see the beauty in the game visuals and textures. So I would say this is great for display but you may want a higher end quality vpn not a refurbished one for sure. But again its up to you explore. I'm seeing that all monitors have the biggest pros while bringing not to bad of cons. Like the lower end display panels are tn panels and do not have a great reputation for viewing angels and colors and stuff but has great response time for being at really good prices. But you want to spend 20- however much more you can get a higher end tn panel. While also being able to buy a vpn or even a ips. But again if you budget on these better displays. It might be a smaller inch than what you could also get for the money or it has bad response time for being a great display panel for only 500 dollars when let's say ppl would suggest spending 600 dollars if you want a great idk 160hz monitor. Ppl buy all these types and really just want to swap it out. Just cuz. The one they have was perfect. But this one just catches their eye. So get an idea of what you'd want for photos display panel. Resolution. Whatever specs for photos coloring specs. Refresh rate. And than take your time research that program you want and what would work with it and tha explore you won't go wrong.
