• Yes, there are all kinds of great Google Chrome apps and App Extensions. I have Microsoft word and have used it with this computer. I do not own a smart pen. However, I see no reason that it would not work.

• Yes you can use Microsoft Office apps on a Chromebook; here is a link on how to do this: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/how-to-install-and-run-microsoft-office-on-a-chromebook-32f14a23-2c1a-4579-b973-d4b1d78561ad This Chromebook does not support smart pens but can use a capacitive touch type stylus.
