These are refurbished directly by Acer, and ship from their facility in Texas. This is why it takes so long for them to be processed and delivered. It is not clear the source on these - could be open box returns, defective parts, whatever. What matters is that Acer themselves have done the repairs back to factory condition, and they put their own phone number and support details on a sticker on the bottom of the keyboard. This particular SKU also comes with the optional pen and a microSD card, which are nice inclusions. You can't beat the price, and the quality is as good as new. I've had mine for a month, and it's the best purchase I've made in years.
