In the title it lists the monitor as HD (which would be 720p or perhaps 1080p) Based on the model and the description it should be 1440p. I just wanted to clarify what BestBuy is offering here.   (5 Answers)

The supported resolution for this HD monitor is 2560 x 1440 resolution at 144Hz, if the video card supports this resolution.

Is this ips Good for shooters, since it has a 4ms response time versus a tn acer that will have a 1ms response time? Will I even notice the difference?   (4 Answers)

        Answer

I had the same concern. I went from a 1ms TN panel to this 4ms. I don't notice any difference in first person shooter games. I think the trade off is worth it to go from a TN panel to an IPS panel. This monitor is very crisp, sharp, and fast.

How is the IPS glow or back light bleed for those horror games (like resident evil) or dark scene games (like arkham knight)? Can you post pictures if there's IPS glow or back light bleed?   (3 Answers)

        Answer

The ips glow is unavoidable and noticeable on my unit, but backlight bleed is surprisingly low (only a little bit on the bottom right corner). It's unnoticeable for chrome/regular use, but blacks are definitely not true blacks. Unfortunately, I don't think you can get much better with IPS. If you frequently use monitors to show dark images, maybe consider a VA panel? Pictures taken by phones tend to overexpose, so I couldn't get one that accurately represents what my eyes can see.

(jose gaucin official youtubechannel) sorry for the advertisement lol but to answer your question, No it does not have HDMI 2.0 . no monitor at 2k resolution have HDMI 2.0 but if the bandwith of the HDMI is what you are wanting for faster speeds ID wait because in late 2017 HDMI 2.1 is coming out and that one has 40gbps and can hold 8k Resolution at 60hz. I hope this helps
