Yes, Both my wife and I have used one activ5 device. You just login to the app as yourself, the app remembers all of your exercise history. You can either use the device with the same phone or tablet and then login as someone else, in my case, my wife. It remembers her history too. After you get used to it, you still may want your own device so you can use it whenever and wherever you want:)
