    • Answer 1st time with this type of drive, but I think the heat sink can only be on 1 side. Many web sites recommended getting a better heat sink, but the included one has been sufficient for me

    • Answer No, you have to attach it. Its very simple to do. This allows you to instead get a different/better heat sink if you desire. The included one has been working well for me.
