- Answer Hello Peeks, Unfortunately the XPG S7 Series 2TB Drive does not meet the minimum specifications for the PS5's internal storage expansion slot. The PS5 requires the drive be a PCIe 4.0 drive, while the XPG S7 is a PCIe 3.0 drive. Regards, ADATA Team

- Answer It already have a heatsink attached to the drive so you don't have to use a separate heatsink. Just screw on your motherboard in the appropriate slot then that's it.

QuestionHello, I've very new to updating components on my computer. My computer has this type of hard drive. M.2 pcie nvme class 40 2280 solid state drive. It's for my Alienware M17 laptop. Would this drive work on my laptop? Thanks.

- Answer It should. I used it in a desktop PC using an adapter card (you won't need that in your laptop), and it fit right in the slot, so it seems pretty standard. It's worked really well for me.

- Answer Hello UncleNick, Unfortunately our XPG S7 NVMe M.2 does not work with the MacBook Pro 2015 as Apple uses their own Proprietary drive that does not work with standard M.2 NVMe drives.

Questionmy mother board :ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING has 2 x M.2 Socket 3 ‧ 1 x Type 2242-2280, supports SATA & PCIe 3.0 x4 modes ‧ 1 x Type 2242-22110, supports PCIe 3.0 x4 mode will this work on my board and would it go into 2280 slot with out sata connection.

- Answer Yes it should work in either one of the nvme slots. And it should not use up any of your SATA ports

- Answer To my recollection, the SSD did not have a screw. My computer had the screw that was needed. Just a single screw and not screwS plural.

- Answer PS5 needs a Gen 4 NVMe M.2 or better. This is a Gen 3 so it would not work. Even some Gen 4 might not work if they are not fast enough according to Sony.
