Q: QuestionThis appears to be a pre-filter and a HEPA filter. Do you sell the pre-filter separately? It would seem to make sense to replace the pre-filter more often than the HEPA filter in order to extend the life of the more expensive HEPA filter.

• A:Answer Hello! We actually designed the pre-filter and the HEPA filter to have virtually the same life so they are both replaced at the same time. We sell them as a set because of the filter life. The fabric sleeve acts as a large particulate filter and you will want to wash it occasionally (cold water, line dry). No need to replace the filter before it's time!
