Hi Ginny. Great question. I pulled the assembly instructions and it shows the keyboard tray on the left, however the brackets are affixed to that part, indicating that there are likely predrilled marks for the keyboard there. If you make a choice to reposition the keyboard tray, please keep in mind that modifications to our products will void the warranty. Have a good day. Customer Care (TJ)
