The battery is probably the best feature of this PC. I game on mine, and I've never come close to running it down. It has lasted an entire day unplugged. If you enable the battery saving features I have no doubt you could use it non-stop for 8 hours no problem. Without battery saving, at least 5 hours. When I take mine to work, I don't even bother taking the charger... because it's huge and I won't need it.
