“Can a stock 10700 Intel Core i7 processor be upgraded to ANY 10900 Intel Core i9? Or only to a Dell-supplied CPU because the motherboard is locked for a certain CPU ID? Are there any limitations if I buy and install CPU purchased from elsewhere? Thanks”

• We do not recommend changing the processor through a third party as that might cause any active Dell warranty to become void in case of any issues with the system.
