Allow me to answer my own question now that I've received the unit... it DOES NOT, in fact, have the additional 2 m.2 slots (Despite the Dell rep response) and you would have to order a number of additional parts (over 20) from Dell in order to install the interposer board... if they had them, which they don't, despite the Dell rep I spoke with earlier assuring me they had everything in stock and just needed my service tag, and won't for the foreseeable future (per Dell on 5/25/2021 @ 1630est). This is the second high end Alienware I've ordered and the second I'm sending back where it came from.

If the model is ordered with one 2.5-inch hard drive, then the optional M.2 slots could not be included. In this unit, the 4 M.2 slots are available, as the 2.5 inch SATA hard drive is not included.
