“i bought an extra m.2 nvme storage, but i would also like to keep the intel optane memory. And I'm thinking of using a m.2 to a pci-e x4 adapter card. So I need to know which slot can i use to maximize the performance. Thanks”

So i bought the pcie adapter and i am using the 8x lane and it runs at full speed great. Letting you guys know wanting to do the same thing. I bought the silverstone one and it does come with a screw if you're also wondering, just check the packaging for the card carefully.
