    • Answer On the Dell website, the URL is still has dell in it even though Alienware is a subsidiary company.   • QuestionThe image on my display doesn’t seem to be filling the screen for some reason. Is this an issue with my settings or with the panel?

    • Answer 1080p or 4k images/videos are not wide enough to fill the screen so you will see black bars on the side. Media that supports ultrawide screens however, will fill the screen such as your desktop and most games.

  • QuestionCan I do full 10-bit color at 165hz?

    • Answer You can make a custom resolution in the the Nvidia setup, same resolution(3440 x 1440), but specify a refresh rate below 165 Hz(like 163 hz). Save the new resolution and enable it and windows will show 10 bit at the slight lower refresh rate. I think it's a software limit. Having said that, it is difficult to distinguish 8 bit +frc(dithered extra 2 bits) vs 10 bit.

    • Answer It is software Gsync compatible. The prior model, the DW, is hardware, with Gsync ultimate, but that made you unable to uodate firmware outside of technicians doing so.
