Q: QuestionWill this work with Alpine MRD-M500 MonoBlock V12 Class D Amps? I own 2 of these amps and I need to control them from the drivers seat. My research shows that the RUX-4280 is the correct unit for my amps but I cannot find one.

• A:Answer If your alpine amp has the plug on the amp, the female plug that looks like a phone cord or ethernet cord plugs in there. This bass knob will work, it’s universal on all the Alpines. As long as you have that plug on the side of the amp. Some of the older alpine‘s do not have a spot to plug it in. On the older alpine’s I use a RCA bass knob, you control it going through your RCA cables.

• A:Answer No Alpine only goes with alpine. Any other amp bass knob will give you a humming noise, very loud.
